About the Fair

 

BolognaFiere S.p.A., Publishers Weekly, and Combined Book Exhibit joined forces to launch the New York Rights Fair. The fair will be the first trade and licensing show in the U.S. dedicated exclusively to the international rights, distribution and licensing of of both adult and children's content. It will embody a "global village" that embraces cultural initiatives and will offer a unique venue for publishers and agents across adult and children's markets to network with their global counterparts.

Scheduled for three days (May 30th - June 1st, 2018) at the Metropolitan Pavilion, the show will cover rights sales negotiation and distribution of content across print, audio, TV, film, and digital channels. The show will include film-to-book community  from Hollywood and will draw independent producers/production companies.

The Combined Book Exhibit

Founded in 1933, Combined Book Exhibit is a book marketing resource that showcases published books at trade shows and book fairs internationally on behalf of publishers and authors. Combined Book Exhibit can be seen at more than two dozen domestic and international shows annually. 


Pub Match

Founded in 2008, PubMatch offers a complete online rights toolkit for publishers, agnts, and authors. It is a worldwide community for the publihsing industry that encourages the creation of business relationships and the worldwide spreading of ideas. PubMatch facilitates rights title management, data warehousing, communication, and simplification of rights marketing for publishers, agents, and authors, making it the go-to place for the international publishing community to find new titles and new talent. The organization is a joint venture between Publishers Weekly and Combined Book Exhibit.
